About Me & How I work
I’m a specialist fertility and pregnancy acupuncturist and an experienced naturopathic nutritionist. I’ve been supporting women and couples with their fertility for nearly 20 years.
I combine acupuncture sessions with nutrition, supplement advice and herbal support. And order additional functional tests to help diagnose and guide my treatments if needed.
Acupuncture is particularly good at preparing women naturally for by balancing hormones and regulating menstrual cycles. And I’ll also focus on egg quality, follicle count and ovulation rates.
Many women also come for acupuncture and nutrition to help get ready for IVF. It can also improve fertility problems like PCOS, endometriosis and fibroids.
Trying for a baby is stressful if it takes longer than expected. So I’ll always focus on helping women sleep more deeply and feel more energised and back in control.
As an experienced fertility pregnancy acupuncturist and nutritionist I also work closely with men with low sperm counts, poor morphology and motility by working on improving diet and making sure they have the best supplements and herbs to boost their fertility.
I trained in TCM ( Traditional Chinese Medicine) and Five Element Acupuncture and the College of Chinese Medicine in Reading in 2005 www.acupuncturecollege.org.uk . Then continued my professional development with leading acupuncture practitioners in gynaecology, hormonal, fertility and obstetric care.
To further my knowledge I completed a further three year diploma in Naturopathic Nutrition at the College of Naturopathic Medicine www.naturopathy-uk.com
I’m a member of the British Acupuncture Council (BAAC) www.acupuncture.org.uk and the British Association for Applied Nutrition and Nutritional Therapy (BANT) www.bant.org.uk.
