So be prepared for sudden weather changes by having enough warm clothes or wet weather gear with you should it suddenly become wetter or windier or colder than you thought when you left the house. Keep your feet dry and warm and never leave the house or swimming pool with wet hair. If you have cold, wood or stone floors wear slippers and socks around the house.
And eating warmer foods – too much cold fruit smoothies at breakfast time or salads at lunch time might be too ‘cold’ or weakening for your digestive system. Instead have porridge for breakfast with cooked fruit or at lunch time eat salads with warm soup or hot grains and beans, couscous, quinoa or add warming herbs and spices like ginger, cardammon and cinnamon.
