Acupuncture helps during the First Trimester to alleviate morning sickness and fatigue. It also helps with anxiety and concerns about miscarriage.
It reduces back or hip stiffness, pain and tension in the 2nd Trimester as well as heartburn. Some women also come at this time for wellbeing and general emotional support.
In the Third Trimester I help women turn breech babies with ‘Moxa’ and prepare them for labour.
Some women may also need support at this time with pelvic pain, carpal tunnel syndrome or sciatica.
Combining acupuncture and nutrition for fertility and IVF brings an extra depth and dimension to my work.
I use my joint skills as a Chinese Medical practitioner and a Naturopathic nutritionist to give my patients extra effective treatment.
